I buy quality canvases, I like a thick background to cover up my canvas, I mix my sky color with gesso to apply to my canvas for beautiful wild west sunsets, sunrises for skies and forefront.
I use palette knifes and special tools I might sometimes use a brush for my art design.
I love living in Living color. Being raised in the Southwest Texas and New Mexico landscapes and different southwestern deserts, I grew up in Cotton fields playing on the Rio Grande with Mexico right next door, cowboys’ horses, cattle mountain ranges and wild west sunsets, blue skies, fluffy white clouds, storms, dark skies, all contribute to my wild far out landscapes and designs.
I also enjoy writing and recording vocals and mixing sound for great creations in musical art sounds. My original studio was Studio 3B, Desert Son was the name of our band, we had many original tunes, but one was a ballad for John Lennon named “Song for John” and produced by Magic Mike Ramsey of KLAQ in El Paso and was a great trophy for us.
Living in the southwestern desert in Albuquerque New Mexico, I love spending time in Ruidoso NM and my home of El Paso Texas, I was greatly influenced by Juarez Mexico. All the southwest are wonderful visions of sunsets and sunrises, mountains and blue skies.
I have been painting in a small space a paint and show studio at Uneekfindings on Lomas Blvd I’ve been painting there since 2017.
I have shown in Ruidoso NM at the Ruidoso Convention Center, Hatch Nm at the Hatch Chile festival, had a booths at Artisan NMAM Hotel Albuquerque on Gold street here in Albuquerque NM.
